Prime Minister Nawaf Salam considered that “targeting members of the Civil Defense in Majdal Zuwayn and killing them while carrying out their humanitarian duty is a new described war crime committed by Israel. It constitutes a blatant violation of the principles and rules of international humanitarian law,” and added, “The government will spare no effort to condemn this heinous crime in international forums, and mobilize all efforts to compel Israel to stop its continued violations of the ceasefire agreement.” He said, "I offer my sincere condolences from the families of the martyrs and from the leadership and members of the Civil Defense. Mercy to our heroic martyrs and our wishes for a speedy recovery for the wounded."
