US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that the attack that targeted a dinner party he was attending at a Washington hotel could not be linked to the war on Iran. He said during a press conference, "This incident will not stop me from winning the Iran war." Asked whether he was the target, he replied: “I think so.” Trump confirmed that an armed man, who was in possession of a number of weapons and wearing a bullet-proof vest, stormed a security checkpoint during the White House Correspondents' Dinner, wounding a law enforcement member. He added: "It is estimated that the attacker acted alone, and I believe that too." Trump described the suspect as "a potential killer."
