Within the framework of the daily follow-up carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat crimes in various Lebanese regions, data was available to the Information Division about the minor (M.A., born in 2010, Lebanese), leaving her family’s home located in the Ghalboun area on 04/15/2026, with an amount of approximately 2000 US dollars and her personal documents in her possession, to an unknown destination.
As a result, the competent units in the division began their field and information procedures to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
As a result of the follow-up, it was found that the aforementioned person was communicating with a person via the “WhatsApp” application, who made her believe that he wanted to marry her while he was on the Lebanese-Syrian border in the locality of Wadi Khaled, where he lured her and she was transferred into Syrian territory, and his name is: A. M. (Born in 2009, Syrian) On April 22, 2026, after about 72 hours had passed since the minor was in Syria, the Division’s units were able, through a precise security operation, to reach her in Homs and secure her with trusted persons, and then transport her to Lebanese territory. The girl was handed over to her family, based on a referral from the competent judiciary.
