Israeli army spokeswoman Ella Wawiyeh wrote on her account on the “X” platform: “Earlier today (Wednesday), IDF forces in the South Lebanon area spotted two vehicles exiting a military building used by Hezbollah. The saboteurs crossed the front line of defense and approached the forces in a way that poses an immediate threat. After it was determined that they were violating the ceasefire agreement, the Air Force attacked one of the two vehicles, then targeted a building where the saboteurs had taken refuge. There were reports that two female journalists were injured as a result of the attacks, and the Israeli army is not preventing rescue teams from reaching the area at this stage. Details of the incident are under examination. It should be noted that a map of the front defense line has been published, and that the area has been evacuated. The IDF does not target journalists in any way, and works as much as possible to minimize the harm that may befall them while maintaining the security of our forces.”
