The Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health issued a statement announcing that two raids launched by the Israeli enemy on the town of Al-Tiri, Bint Jbeil District, resulted in two martyrs and one wounded, and attempts are still continuing to rescue the media personality, Amal Khalil.
The enemy had pursued Khalil and her colleague Zainab Faraj, who had taken shelter from the first raid in a nearby house, targeting the house in which they had taken refuge.
When the Lebanese Red Cross arrived to transport the injured, the enemy prevented the completion of the humanitarian mission, so they fired a sound bomb at the ambulance and targeted it with bullets. They were unable to recover Khalil, while Faraj was transported to the hospital with the bodies of the two martyrs.
The Ministry of Public Health denounces the unacceptable practices that the enemy continues to commit with all determination. It recorded a double flagrant violation, represented by obstructing rescue efforts of a citizen known for her civil media activity, in addition to targeting an ambulance clearly bearing the Red Cross emblem.
In a second statement, the Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health announced a statement announcing that the Israeli enemy’s raid on the town of Yahmar al-Shaqif, Nabatieh District, resulted in two martyrs and two wounded.
