The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: The Army Command denounces the incident that took place with a patrol from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon - UNIFIL in the Ghandouriyah - Bint Jbeil area, as a result of an exchange of fire with gunmen, which led to injuries among the patrol members. The Army Command confirms the continuation of close coordination with UNIFIL during the current delicate stage, and the Army is also conducting the necessary investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident and arrest those involved.
