The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: On April 16, 2026, in the context of the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon, the Al-Qasimiya Sea Bridge - Tire was targeted and destroyed, with the aim of separating the area south of the Litani from its north and isolating it. The attack also resulted in the death of one person and the injury of two others, in addition to the injury of a soldier from the unit stationed on the bridge. The Army Command confirms that the relevant units will inspect and evaluate the condition of the bridge and rehabilitate it as soon as possible.
