The Governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Abboud, issued a decision to temporarily re-close the “Nadini” restaurant in downtown Beirut* in a precautionary and temporary manner, after laboratory tests confirmed the presence of the Trichinella spiralis parasite in one of the meat samples taken from the restaurant, which poses a threat to food safety and public health. The decision explained that the seals had previously been removed from the restaurant hall, without this constituting permission to resume its activity, but the new laboratory results necessitated taking additional precautionary measures. The decision affirmed *preventing the resumption of any activity in the restaurant* until the causes of danger are removed, the necessary tests and examinations are conducted, and health conditions are met. The Beirut Municipality's slaughterhouses department, with the support of the City Guard Regiment, implemented *the closing decision and sealed the restaurant with red wax*
