UNIFIL affirmed on Monday its commitment to supporting peace and stability in the region. It indicated in a statement that it continues to implement the tasks assigned to it under Resolution 1701, which includes monitoring developments, reporting violations to the Security Council, communicating with the parties, supporting the Lebanese army, and facilitating humanitarian missions.
