A member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Dr. Hassan Fadlallah, we are not in a position to challenge the state, and we do not want to challenge anyone in Lebanon. Whoever is in a position of resistance against the enemy, and whoever has Israel as an enemy, is enough of an enemy, stressing that we are not looking for rivalries, debates, or challenges, and we do not want to be a substitute for anyone or replace anyone. Rather, we are in a defensive position, and we are targeted, and our fate is threatened by this Israeli enemy, and because we have not yet found in Lebanon a state that bears its responsibility. We bear this responsibility and make these sacrifices.
MP Fadlallah’s positions came during his participation in the honoring celebration held by Hezbollah for the martyrs of the Islamic resistance in the southern town of Tibnin, in the presence of events, personalities, religious scholars, martyrs’ families, and a group of people.
MP Fadlallah saw that we do not now have in Lebanon a state that owns its own decisions, but rather a state that is run from the outside. Some run it via WhatsApp, others run it over the phone, and that the decisions you take, some of which come under pressure, are nothing but external dictates aimed at robbing our country of its elements of strength, after the war and siege failed to eliminate the resistance. They are delusional when they wanted some internal tools to eliminate this resistance and its capabilities, under the title of exclusivity of weapons, and the exclusivity of the decision of war and peace in the hands of the state, but Give us a state, and prove that you are a state, before you talk about the rights of the state. No one denies that the state has rights, but it also has responsibilities and duties.
MP Fadlallah said: What happened by some people in power was taking unjust measures and invalid decisions, under direct American dictate, and these American-Israeli demands ultimately aim to destroy the country, because they will not be able to twist the arm of this resistance, and they will not be able to undermine the will of our people, as this resistance is this people who constitute more than half of the country, and when we talk about the resistance community, we are not just talking about Shiite Muslims, but about a broader community than that, even if there is even targeting. For religious identity, and for everyone who belongs to this dear sect, but this targeting does not lead to a weakening of us, but rather to greater cohesion, unity, and solidity of position. Therefore, we do not confront the state and its decisions. Rather, there are some people in authority who are subject to American foreign guardianship and carry out its requests. This guardianship interferes in the judiciary, security, financial policy, economic procedures, and appointments. This is something everyone in the country knows, and when we sit with them, they say that such-and-such ambassador exerted pressure, and that so-and-so called from abroad and we have no ability to withstand the pressure. Let us take some step to avoid these pressures.
MP Fadlallah stressed that there are no concessions in principles, and in the issue of the resistance there is no room for tolerance for any targeting of any element of its force. All we ask of some people in authority is that they not respond to dictates. We have advised them from a position of concern for civil peace and stability and the preservation of our country. We are paying the most precious blood for this country, but this concern does not mean at all that it will be exploited to carry out some measures, because there are certain limits that cannot be tolerated or tolerated, and this matter has a relationship with With our destiny, with our presence on our land, with our future, with our partnership in the country, and when our presence in Lebanon is affected, it is natural for us to confront and confront.
MP Fadlallah asked the authorities: Why are you taking the country, based on American pressure, specifically from the US Secretary of State, into an internal confrontation? Who benefits from it? Will it benefit it and benefit the covenant and the government? Will it benefit her from straining the country and provoking people in this way? Why is there an insistence on providing reasons for internal confrontation?
He added: We do not recognize the decisions that were taken against the resistance on March 2, and there were those trying to find solutions, and then some of this authority moved as if it was working by remote control, when a truck passed and was stopped and what was inside was discovered. It was said that the truck was transporting weapons, and what does that mean? It is natural for the resistance to transport a weapon and for it to reach the front. As for how it is transported and by what means, this has its own procedures. Otherwise, how does the resistance prepare itself and equip its capabilities? How will you fight this enemy? Do you fight him with bags of potatoes?
He said: You happened to discover something, but does this mean that you will ruin the country? Does this mean that you incite to this level, starting with some official officials, all the way to the political parties and forces? If we had not possessed the highest levels of wisdom and awareness, our country would be in another place, but we are the most careful about our country, and we will remain the most careful about it, but this does not mean at all that they will continue, whether they are in power or outside it.
MP Fadlallah continued: Therefore, our advice, from the pulpit of Tibnin and the pulpit of the martyrs, to some of the official bodies inside, and to some of the employees therein, who are pushed by some authorities in certain procedures, or who are contacted by American or regional officials to make judicial or security decisions, our advice to them is that things in Lebanon will not remain as they are, and that the equation in Lebanon will change, and this authority will not remain as it is. We are patient and endure, but things will change, so our advice to them is to They should calm down a little, and let none of them link their fate to the fate of this authority.
MP Fadlallah said: There is a competition between some agencies to take certain measures, with the aim of presenting credentials to the American administration and the American embassy, but we tell them that this competition will not benefit you, and targeting us, targeting our resistance, and targeting our society will not benefit you, as this resistance is constant, remaining and continuing, and no force on earth will be able to budge us from our principles.
MP Fadlallah pointed out that there are American and Israeli media, some regional media, and some local tools, whose job is to spread rumors, draw scenarios, and fabricate news in order to distort the bright picture of the sacrifices of these martyrs and our people, but all this misinformation and distortion will not be able to undermine our will, and everything that is happening is linked to what is happening in the region, even if we are facing a difficult moment, in which there are sacrifices, pain, pain, and displacement, and in which are these voices that you all hear. There are attacks and bombings here every day, and we do not have a country that hears them or comes to see what is happening, and in addition to that there are provocations at home, but all of this will be overturned in the face of any change in the region. When the memorandum of understanding was signed between Iran and the United States, Lebanon was of course in the first item, and that day at home, they began to line up in rows and ask who will come to Hezbollah before the other, and today, as soon as any treatment or solution is reached, you will find them in another location.
Regarding the issue of displacement, MP Fadlallah said that we, through the joint committee between Hezbollah and the Amal Movement, urge the government to carry out its duties towards the people, whether in structural restoration, damage restoration, reconstruction, or supporting the displaced through shelter. This is the responsibility of the authority, and it will not be able to evade it, no matter how much it invokes any reasons, political, financial, or economic. All of that is called pretexts, and this is its responsibility and it must bear it, if it is not able to protect the people and confront them. Aggression, at least it must take care of these people. As for what Hezbollah is doing, it is part of a moral and legal obligation towards our people, and this does not mean at all that we are replacing the state or that we are relieving the state of its responsibilities. Some in Lebanon were upset because they were betting on our inability to provide some of the elements of steadfastness for our people, but whoever wants to be upset, let him be upset, and whoever wants to be upset, let him be upset. The American administration did not leave a statement or word without making it, and some of its officials were asking the media to conduct interviews to question this step, but let them doubt as much as they want. This is a practical step, which we have announced and begun to implement, and it will reach, God willing, every deserving person, and for us it is no. It means and is worth nothing in front of a drop of the blood of a martyr, and in front of this solid position of our people and our people, who despite all the dangers in the south, we see them returning to their villages, defying the Israeli killing machine, and working themselves to rebuild civilian life in these villages.
