Amal Movement MP Hani Qubaisi criticized previous political positions, especially the framework agreement, considering that it did not achieve anything for Lebanon. He believed that the negotiations had turned into a farce in which the Lebanese army was intended to be subjected to Israeli tests, starting from one southern town and extending to another. He stressed that the Lebanese army is not being tested by the enemy, but rather has the right to deploy throughout Lebanese territory Qubaisi confirmed that President Nabih Berri rejected direct negotiations because he realized that Israel would continue its aggression and attempts to embarrass the Lebanese state and put pressure on the army and the people.
