The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: An army unit raided the homes of wanted persons in the Dar al-Wasaa area - Baalbek, and seized about 22 kilograms of hashish and about 22 thousand Captagon pills, and destroyed 14 tents planted with marijuana. It also arrested the two Syrians (M.H.) and (A.B.) for their cooperation with one of the wanted persons. Other units in the areas of: Al-Mushrifa - Hermel, Al-Madfoun - Batroun, Shudra, Al-Dababiyeh, and Wadi Khaled - Akkar, also arrested 134 Syrians for wandering inside Lebanese territory without legal papers. The seized items were handed over and investigations began with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
