The President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, received the Army Commander, General Rodolphe Heikal, at Baabda Palace and discussed with him the security situation in the country in general and in the south in particular in light of the continuing Israeli attacks. Heikal briefed Aoun on the results of his visit to Cyprus and the conversations he held with officials.
