US President Donald Trump on Saturday called for choosing a new leadership in Ukraine, criticized his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky and demanded that he stop targeting Russian oil refineries. Trump told reporters at the White House: “He better stop that,” one day after he announced that he had reached an agreement allowing Russia to supply diesel to global markets. He added, referring to Zelensky: “I suggest that they choose a new leader who is able to conclude an agreement.” Tensions have been escalating between Washington and Kiev since Trump announced, on Friday evening, the Russian diesel deal, which amounts to about 4.8 million tons, a deal to which Zelensky responded by warning that allowing the sale of Russian petroleum products is “an investment in a war that must be ended, not prolonged.” \
