The municipality of Reshmiya denounced the decision of the Minister of Education, Rima Karami, to close Reshmiya Public High School. In a statement, the municipality called on all the townspeople and its people to stand united alongside the council, rejecting the decision of the Minister of Education and Higher Education to close this educational edifice, which constitutes a basic pillar of the town and the entire region. Therefore, the Council has the honor to invite you to gather next Saturday, 10/03/2026, at 11:15 a.m. in front of the high school building. Let us be many, and together we affirm our adherence to this vital gain in defense of our children’s right to education and the future of Reshmiya and its neighbourhood.
