The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: An army unit, after a security monitoring and follow-up operation, in the town of Al-Jamaliyya - Baalbek, arrested the two citizens (A.M.) and (B.A.), who were wanted under several arrest warrants for forming an armed gang with others active in acts of robbery and theft by force of arms, and for impersonating a security personnel, and seized a military pistol in their possession. Another army unit also raided a drug manufacturing factory in the town of Al-Knessa - Baalbek, and seized a quantity of raw materials and equipment used in drug manufacturing. The seized items were handed over and investigations began with the two detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
