Prime Minister Nawaf Salam departs for the United States of America, heading first to New York to participate in the proceedings of the United Nations General Assembly and to deliver Lebanon's address before it. On the sidelines of the General Assembly proceedings, Prime Minister Salam will hold a series of bilateral meetings and encounters with a number of heads of state and international officials. Salam will meet with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in addition to IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, World Bank Group President Ajay Banga, and a number of US and international officials.
