Due to Israeli attacks, Bint Jbeil civil status office temporarily relocated to Sidon Serail

The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities – Directorate General of Personal Status issued the following statement:
"In light of the continuing Israeli attacks in the South, and out of concern to secure the interests of citizens and facilitate the completion of their transactions, the necessary measures have been taken to open the Bint Jbeil civil status office in the Sidon Serail building as a temporary alternative center, starting today, Thursday, September 17, 2026.
This measure comes with the aim of ensuring work continuity and completing transactions and civil registry extract requests belonging to citizens affiliated with the Bint Jbeil civil status office, in accordance with available documents and capabilities."
