Tripartite meeting in France... Aoun stresses the need to formulate a joint regional security strategy

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun, Jordanian King Abdullah II, and French President Emmanuel Macron held a tripartite meeting at the Invalides Palace in Paris ahead of the opening of the preparatory meeting for the international conference to support the army and the Internal Security Forces.
During the meeting, the attendees discussed mechanisms for enhancing cooperation and coordination, and the importance of France hosting a new round of the "Aqaba Process" initiative to support the army and enable it to perform its duties in cooperation with the Internal Security Forces.
During the meeting, the Lebanese President emphasized the interconnectedness of regional security and the necessity of formulating a joint regional security strategy through joint energy projects, as well as economic, security, and political cooperation.
