MP Michel Moawad announced during the session that "Hezbollah has dragged Lebanon into two wars in defense of the Iranian regime." He said: "We start from a reality that no one can deny: the Lebanese citizen is exhausted and suffocated, as inflation approaches 20 percent, the size of the economy is shrinking, and school tuition fees are rising. Against the backdrop of this reality, no government is above accountability, but we will not accept that facts be turned upside down." He added: "We ask, was the South destroyed because Prime Minister Nawaf Salam heads the government, or because Hezbollah destroyed Lebanon as a whole and dragged it into absurd wars and collapse?"
