Israeli army spokesperson Ella Waweya indicated that "the Israeli army found ready-to-use launch platforms left in the security zone before the ceasefire agreement entered into force: the activity of the 55th Brigade combat team forces in southern Lebanon." She claimed that "the 55th Brigade combat team forces, led by the 91st Division, are in the security zone in southern Lebanon to remove threats against Israel. During the forces' activity, and as part of sweeping operations in the area, the forces found a dwelling site containing a Hezbollah tunnel opening and ready-to-use launch platforms, which contained 32 rocket projectiles directed toward Israeli territory, and were left in the area before the ceasefire agreement entered into force. The forces destroyed the site and the platforms." Waweya added: "The Israeli army will not allow Hezbollah to harm the citizens of the State of Israel and its forces, and will continue to work to remove threats, while maintaining its commitment to the ceasefire agreement."
