Israeli Army Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir visited the deployment area of the 36th Division in southern Lebanon, following the Israeli army's announcement that it had destroyed underground routes and facilities in the Ali al-Taher heights, which it said belonged to Hezbollah. Zamir stated that the Israeli army destroyed during the night what it described as "underground terrorist infrastructure," considering it to be, as he claimed, a main command, control, and combat infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah that was established with Iranian support. He stressed that the "yellow line" remains under the full control of the Israeli army without any change, affirming that any attack on the towns of northern Israel or on Israeli army forces will be met, according to him, with an "immediate and strong response"
