Phalange Party leader Sami Gemayel said that Lebanon stands at the gates of dangerous security developments in the region and in the south, noting that the issue of tunnels is not a myth but a reality. Gemayel pointed out that the goal is to protect the Lebanese from “Ali Taher” 2, 3, and 4, and from “Ali Taher” in other Lebanese areas.” Gemayel warned against the expansion of the war, stressing that all measures are required to prevent the expansion of Israeli destruction, bombing, and attacks. Gemayel stressed, “Based on our concern for this authority, we ask these questions and ask the state to adhere to what it promised, and we ask: What have you done, what will you do, and what is the timetable for implementing your decisions?” He considered that “civil peace is threatened because there are those who rebel against the state’s decisions. Either we submit to this rebellion or we confront it, and the state cannot submit to it.” He concluded by saying: “If the state “does not do its job,” this war may expand, and then the United States and Israel will negotiate with the illegitimate powers at the expense of the state and all the Lebanese.”
