The head of the Gas Station Owners Syndicate, George Al-Barakas, announced that the price of a barrel of crude oil touched $100, as a result of the escalation of military tension and the targeting of energy facilities in the Arabian Gulf, in addition to the negative developments in the Russian-Ukrainian war and increasing fears of a decline in oil supplies to international markets.
Al-Barakas pointed out that the price of fuel in Lebanon has reached the threshold of $30 per can of gasoline.
