MP Bilal Abdallah considered that "American pressure forced Israel to halt the war on Lebanon in order to proceed with negotiations, but it is trying to evade any agreement," pointing out that "Israel has not rebelled against the framework agreement, and the solution lies in changing regional circumstances not only in Lebanon, but also in Syria and Gaza." He pointed out that "the systematic destruction, daily explosions, and all the attacks carried out by the Israeli army confirm that the settler aggression continues and the war is long," praising "Arab efforts aimed at the revival of Lebanon and addressing the collapsed economic situation," and pointing out that "the ongoing war confirms that Lebanon is still in the stage of collapse." On the other hand, he viewed the revival of the railways between Lebanon and Syria as "an initiative to cement Lebanon's connection with its Arab depth and a new economic outlet for Lebanon to repair the internal situation," explaining that "initiatives and agreements that were forbidden under the former Syrian regime have become permissible with the new regime."
