The General Directorate of Civil Defense warned citizens and residents against swimming along the Lebanese coast, from Abda in the north to Naqoura in the south, due to the high waves and strong sea currents. The Directorate confirmed that these conditions increase the risk of drowning accidents and threaten the safety of beachgoers, calling for them to be careful and refrain from swimming in order to preserve their safety.
