The investigating judge of the Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Court in Iraq announced the seizure of 20 million and 340 thousand US dollars and 200 million Iraqi dinars, in addition to the recovery of 60 kilograms of gold and the seizure of 7 cars, in coordination with the Kurdistan region. He pointed out that the operation comes within the framework of the case of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Liquidation Affairs, the accused Adnan Al-Jumaili, and the parties involved with him. He stressed that the follow-up and investigation procedures to seize funds collected from waste in projects implemented by the accused and the parties involved in the case resulted in the seizure of sums of money, gold jewelry, and cars. He stressed the continuation of investigations and the prosecution of others involved, leading to the completion of legal procedures against them.
