Army Commander General Rudolph Heikal received in his office - Yarzeh, American General Joseph Clearfield, head of the Military Coordination Group for Lebanon (MCG4L), with a delegation. During the meeting, developments in the south, security arrangements related to the framework agreement, and the difficulties faced by the army during the implementation of its missions were discussed, most notably the continued attacks, bulldozing and destruction by the Israeli occupation. The two parties also stressed the importance of supporting the army in light of the missions it carries out in the south and various Lebanese regions.
