The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced the interception of drones that it said were launched from Iraqi territory and were trying to target oil facilities in the Eastern and Riyadh regions.
The Ministry affirmed the Kingdom's right to defend itself and its capabilities, and reserved the right of response.
Saudi Arabia also condemned the drone attack launched from Iraqi territory, stressing the need for the Iraqi government to prevent the use of its territory as a launching pad for any attack on the Kingdom.
