The Supreme Relief Authority announced in a statement the arrival of the first batch of humanitarian aid campaign to relieve those affected, provided by the United Arab Emirates through the Emirates International Aid Agency, and includes 29 trucks that arrived through the Masnaa border crossing, under the directives of the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. In this context, the head of the Emirates International Aid Agency, Tariq Ahmed Al Ameri, confirmed: The agency provides relief aid of food and other supplies in coordination with the Higher Relief Commission in Lebanon, in order to ensure the provision of necessary services related to humanitarian relief, and that basic needs reach those affected as quickly as possible. For his part, the Lebanese Ambassador to the UAE, Tariq Hassan Mneimneh, thanked the leadership, government and people of the UAE for supporting the Lebanese people with all their components in all circumstances, helping them face difficult living challenges, providing urgent needs, and standing with them to achieve peace, stability, development and prosperity.
