The Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad al-Hajjar, asked all governors, before the onset of winter, to circulate to all municipalities, municipal unions, and mayors for villages that do not have municipalities, each within its scope, the following: * Rehabilitating rainwater networks, removing all obstacles and encroachments within winter canals, canals, winter sewers, and river channels, and transferring them to legal dumps. * Direct coordination with the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the Ministry of Energy and Water, and the General Directorate of Civil Defense, each in its respective capacity, when necessary in this regard. * Removing encroachments and preventing any new encroachments on river public property, to prevent floods or diversion of water outside sewers and rivers.
