Israeli Army spokesperson Avichay Adraee wrote on X: “Southern Lebanon is a graveyard for Hezbollah elements – the Air Force and the 91st Division forces eliminated nine Hezbollah elements in southern Lebanon, noting that the 91st Division forces continue their focused ground activity to expand the forward security zone in southern Lebanon.” He added: “The forces detected a number of Hezbollah elements yesterday who approached the area where the forces are operating, and through a rapid detection and targeting operation, the forces opened fire on them while the Air Force, directed by the forces, attacked the terrorist elements and eliminated them. There were no injuries among our forces.” He concluded: “The IDF will continue to operate forcefully against Hezbollah, which has decided to join the battle and operate under the patronage of the Iranian regime, and will not allow harm to come to the citizens of the State of Israel.”
