The Army Command announced that, as part of pursuing those who violated security and confiscating weapons in various Lebanese regions, and after careful monitoring and follow-up operations, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate raided the home of the citizen (H.A.) in the Aramoun - Aley area, and arrested him for possessing weapons and military ammunition and confiscated a quantity of them, in addition to electronic devices. Another patrol in the Bchamoun-Aley area also arrested the citizen (A.S.) for trading in military weapons and threatening residents with force of arms, and seized a quantity of military weapons and ammunition in his possession. Another patrol in the Benin-Akkar region also raided the home of the citizen (M.A.) and arrested his Syrian wife (S.L.) for trafficking in drugs and promoting them with her husband. They seized a large quantity of hashish, silvia, and narcotic pills, in addition to weapons and military ammunition. The seized items were handed over and investigations began with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary, and follow-up is underway to arrest the rest of those involved.
