The Israeli army carried out violent bombings in the Ali Al-Taher Hills, from the side of the town of Kafr Tibnit. He continued: "The State of Israel will continue to defend the towns of the north from inside Lebanon, and every attempt to harm our citizens and forces will be met with a strong response." The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that the army was preparing to blow up tunnels in Ali al-Tahir Heights. Earlier, the Israeli army informed residents of the north that it is expected to hear sounds of explosions in the coming hours, resulting from its military activities in Lebanon. Following the operation, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a statement, claiming that the Israeli army destroyed Hezbollah's underground infrastructure in the Ali al-Taher chain. The statement added that "the Israeli army has completed the organization of the security zone in southern Lebanon," claiming that "the destruction of the infrastructure achieves operational control over the Ali Al-Taher Heights above and below the ground."
