Minister of Education and Higher Education Rima Karami confirmed that the Ministry is committed to holding the official exams for the year 2026 and preserving this national and educational entitlement, stressing that the safety of students and teachers is an absolute priority in various circumstances. Karami pointed out that the current academic year was not normal, which prompted the Ministry to adopt a series of exceptional measures that took into account the circumstances that students went through during the year, pointing out that these measures included adopting the three courses, reducing the curriculum, and providing flexibility in places of application, in addition to special support arrangements aimed at helping students take the exams in the best possible conditions. She explained that the Ministry is continuously monitoring developments, stressing that if force majeure circumstances force additional measures to be taken, it will not hesitate to do what is necessary in a timely manner to ensure the protection of students and educational bodies.
