Iranian national team players have obtained entry visas to the United States to participate in the 2026 World Cup in soccer, according to what the American ambassador to Turkey, Tom Brake, confirmed in a message via the “X” platform. Commenting on a report that Iranian national team players were granted entry visas to the United States, Barak said: “I feel proud of the work accomplished by our distinguished team at the American embassy in Ankara to process visa applications for the Iranian national football team on its way to participate in the World Cup in the United States.”
