Al-Riyadi qualifies by defeating Al-Ula Saudi Arabia by four points in the AFC Champions League

The defending champion, Beirut Sports Club, qualified for the final match of the quarter-finals, “Final 8,” of the AFC Champions League basketball competition, “Wasl,” by defeating Saudi Al-Ula by a margin of four points, 82-78 (rounds 28-14, 47-42, 63-59, 82-78), in the first of the two semi-final matches that were played between them this evening at the Nihad Nofal Complex in Zouk Mikael.
The best scorer for American athletes was Donovan Williams, 29 points, and Zach Lofton, 21 points.
Later this evening, Al-Hikma Beirut and Al-Kuwait Al-Kuwait will meet in the second semi-final.
The final match will be held tomorrow, Sunday.
