The Head of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, addressed "an appeal to the people of the resistance and its heroes," in which he said: "Our dear people, I turn to you today to address you directly—addressing your minds, souls, hearts, and sense of responsibility. You are the children of His Eminence, the supreme martyr, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may his secret be sanctified), and the children of His Eminence the hidden Imam, Sayyed Moussa Sadr (may God return him safely). My certainty in you, like the certainty of all my brothers in the leadership of Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance, is that you are the sacrificing, patient, honorable ones, and the epitome of free people in Lebanon, the region, and the world. You are the titles of pride, defiance, and human dignity. You are the people and environment of the heroic mujahideen and resistance fighters... and all fighters and strugglers for freedom, security, and sovereignty. In peace as in war, you are the standard of honest national, principled, human, and responsible commitment in stance and choice. You are the echoes of Imam Hussein’s (as) cry in Karbala, committed to his righteous path of change and reform under the leadership of those in authority among our leaders, our great religious authorities, and the prominent mujahideen scholars. You are our patient, honorable people." He added: "We are your sons and brothers in Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance, and your sons and brothers in the Amal Movement. At this juncture in time, we represent a generation of your generations that grew up in your laps, believing and committed, loyal to God, His messengers, and the righteous, believing those in authority; enamored with liberation and justice; struggling to achieve security, sovereignty, and dignity; refusing injustice; rejecting humiliation and disgrace; and too proud to submit or surrender to an enemy... The only great one to you is God alone, and then those of His creation and servants who draw near to Him through faith and righteous deeds. We in the Islamic Resistance are a generation of your generations that are steadfast in truth, loving to creation, open to them, respectful of their rights, defiant of falsehood and its symbols, and devoted to supporting the oppressed and their causes... It is enough pride for you, our people, that you honestly support the cause of Palestine, maintain your steadfast stance against the Zionist occupation and its racist entity, endorse and support liberation movements against colonizers, and are keen to strengthen and back the stance opposing aggression, subjugation of the oppressed, the confiscation of their decisions, and the wasting of their rights." He continued: "God grants you further elevation and dignity because you are the supporters of the oppressed, regardless of their identity and affiliation, and because you are advocates of goodness, righteousness, justice, and stability. In your neighborhood, the weak feel safe and the honorable grow strong... With you, there is a bet on fulfilling covenants and committing to pacts with compatriots, allies, friends, and those who share positions or interests with you. You were, still are, and will remain faithful partners in your homeland, Lebanon. It grows through you, and you grow through what is achieved within it of sovereignty, pride, dignity, security, justice, freedom, and unified human living... Should some miscalculate, or deign themselves low and thus accept submission, humiliation, or tutelage out of greed for power, security, influence, or personal interest at the expense of their homeland and people, your certainty in the necessity of standing firm in your right is a trait that never leaves you... and your faith is the greatest immunity against being bitten from the same snake pit twice." He proceeded to say: "Our honorable people... families of the martyrs... the wounded and the prisoners... Through you, the homeland is exalted and citizens are honored... Wherever you are—in your residence or displacement, in your homeland or diaspora, in your peace or resistance, with your kin or neighbors and compatriots... you are the owners of enduring grace through your sincerity, patience, sacrifices, cooperation, humility, love for others among your people, and your keenness on the independence, sovereignty, and dignity of your country and all its people across all regions, sects, and denominations. And because you are the pillar of the homeland's tent—which you firmly refuse to be occupied, threatened, have its sovereignty violated, or languish under the pressure of blackmail or tutelage—and because you form the impenetrable dam against the expansion of Zionist influence and hegemony, you are subjected today to the fiercest destructive war aimed at breaking your will by leveling your homes and villages, displacing you from your land, and continuously threatening you with evacuation, killing, and bombing. And because the will of your sons and brothers, the resistance fighters, is an extension of your resolute will, and because the weapons of the resistance driven by this will constitute the real deterrent to cementing the occupation, its stability, and its hegemony... today, the forces of evil supporting the Zionist entity and endorsing its aggressive project conspire against you. Roles are distributed internationally, regionally, and locally to twist your arm and force subjugation and surrender upon you. How strong you are, our people?!! And because we and you know the gravity of what they want and what they strive for in terms of a horrifying targeting of our collective security, sovereignty, rights, interests, culture, wealth, resources, economy, and free national decision... we have refused and rejected, and you have refused and rejected, their project, confronting their aggression and war together. We fight and resist without weakening or yielding... we are patient and steadfast... we hurt and we inflict pain... and we fulfill our duty of defense until God grants us victory or we achieve martyrdom, so that our stance and performance become a lesson and an example for future generations who will undoubtedly continue to carry the banner of liberation, defiance, and dignity... with heads held high and lofty brows." He stated: "Our patient, sacrificing, loyal people, we fight our enemy in the field, and he grows weary of the valor and heroism of our fighters... and resorts to unleashing the hell of his wrath, might, and tyranny to destroy your villages and displace you, knowing full well that this will not lead to cementing his occupation or securing stability in our land. Our enemies and all others in our country and the world know that we and you face and stand firm to protect our existence and compensate for the shortcomings of our state... and we do not fight and sacrifice our most precious blood for the sake of those whom some call 'others' to justify their shortcomings and helplessness... We and you, our people, are performing our national, humanitarian, and moral defensive duty against the Zionist enemy to preserve and protect our existence, land, nation, and people, and to prevent criminals from persisting in targeting our country and our region. The security of its peoples and the sovereignty of its states will not be protected from Zionist ambitions by an alliance with America—the sponsor of Zionist terrorism—nor even by normalization with the racist, occupying, and usurping Zionists. Whoever supported us, backed us, and stood by our right, to them goes our thanks and appreciation. Whoever let us down and stood by watching the crimes of our enemy without even uttering a word of condemnation or lifting a finger against him, history will judge his defeatist stance. As for those who colluded with the Zionist enemy, claimed friendship with our country, and supplied the occupiers with weapons, gear, ammunition, and all capabilities, their hypocrisy is known to us and accounted for in our calculations... But we advise our partners in the homeland who are taken in by these international hypocrites not to bet on the lies and promises of these people... because the good of these people is for them and our enemy... and the good they hope to achieve for their own interest is to deceive you, control your country, and share the spoils with the Zionist invaders backed by them. As for us, we remain true to your covenant, our people, and to your hope in us, steadfast in facing the occupation and the criminal aggression against our country. We have driven our feet deep into the earth and lent our skulls to God, sacrificing our entire existence for His pleasure. He is our Lord and Master, so an excellent Master and an excellent Helper. God has promised the patient believers and sincere mujahideen glorious and triumphant victory, and His promise is true. That is grace and favor from Him which we hope to deserve and by which our eyes will be gladdened in this world, and if martyrdom is written for us... that is a badge of honor and elevation for us in this world and the hereafter." He concluded: "Our honorable people, we are your sons and brothers, pressing forward with our resistance. To all who hear us, we say what our Imam Hussein, the master of martyrs (peace be upon him), said: 'Do you not see that the truth is not acted upon, and that falsehood is not despaired of? So let the believer yearn for the meeting with his Lord in truth. Indeed, we see death nothing but happiness, and life with the oppressors nothing but weariness.' And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned, and the outcome is for the righteous. And victory is only from God, the Mighty, the Wise. And it was incumbent upon Us to aid the believers."
