The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Nabih Berri, received at the Second Presidency in Ain al-Tineh the Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon, Miguel de Lucas González, on a protocol visit on the occasion of assuming his diplomatic duties as his country’s ambassador to Lebanon. During the meeting, the general situation and bilateral relations between Lebanon and Spain were reviewed. Speaker Berri presented the general situation and developments in light of Israel's continued aggression against Lebanon, especially the south and the western Bekaa, and its repercussions on the health, hospital and emergency sectors, with Minister of Health Rakan Nasser Al-Din, who briefed the Council President on the atmosphere and work programs of the ministry at the current stage. Berri discussed with the Chairman of the Parliamentary Defense, Interior and Municipalities Committee, Representative Jihad Al-Samad, developments in the general situation, political and field developments, legislative affairs, and the file of the displaced.
