A member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Ali Ammar, confirmed during the honoring ceremony held by Hezbollah for a group of martyrs of the Islamic Resistance in the Third Sector who were martyred in defense of Lebanon and its people in the Battle of the “Devouring Storm” that we are against direct negotiations conducted by the authority with the Israeli enemy, because by doing so it gives it a free recognition and concession that is not compatible with the dignity and sovereignty of this country, addressing the ruling authority in Lebanon by saying, “Come to a common word between us and you, so that we may build Lebanon.” The homeland of sovereignty, freedom, dignity and prosperity, and let us return to the people all the atmosphere of happiness and joy after your policies brought misfortune, misery and despair to these people. Representative Ammar pointed out that the authority in Lebanon is completely different from the state. The state is for all of us, and it is an institution. As for the ruling authority these days in Lebanon, it has lost its integrity since the first day it handed over its credentials to the United States of America, knowing that whoever does that will only obtain a further decrease in sovereignty, patriotism, and status. Representative Ammar called on some of the Lebanese who claim sovereignty to raise their hands from sovereignty, because our homeland, Lebanon, in days like these, is blessed with the most honorable and sacred resistance that history can witness, and therefore, instead of these people continuing to cling to the American quilt and pillow, they should cuddle up to the pride, dignity, and status of this people. Representative Ammar pointed out that some at the internal level, who have not yet been terrified despite their bitter experience in dealing with the Israeli enemy except in the past years, are still betting that they can bring down the resistance, which God Almighty has legislated and does not need evidence, but they will be disappointed again, and this resistance will remain present and strong in order to defend Lebanon and its people.
