Ambassador Al-Bukhari in Ain Al-Tineh... and bilateral relations between Lebanon and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are on the table

His Excellency the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Nabih Berri, received, at the headquarters of the Second Presidency in Ain al-Tineh, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon, Walid Al-Bukhari, on a farewell visit on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic duties as his country’s ambassador to Lebanon. The visit was also an occasion during which the general situation and bilateral relations between Lebanon and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were presented.
President Berri also received Sri Lanka's Ambassador Anura Waitanagi, on a protocol visit after assuming his diplomatic duties as his country's ambassador to Lebanon. The visit was also an occasion during which the general situation and relations between the two countries were presented.
In the afternoon, the President of the Council followed up on the general situation and developments, especially on the field, in light of Israel’s continued aggression against Lebanon and the south and its repercussions on the educational sectors, during his meeting with the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Rima Karami, who put Speaker Berri in the context of the ministry’s work plans and programs at the current stage.
Speaker Berri also received Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Elias Bou Saab, where they discussed the latest political and field developments, and legislative affairs, especially the course of discussion on the amnesty law.
