The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beirut informs dear Lebanese citizens wishing to travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran, that in reference to the Lebanese government’s decision to cancel the existing agreement between the two countries regarding entry facilities at border crossings.
Reintroducing the visa issuance system, the competent authorities in the Islamic Republic of Iran have made the necessary arrangements to ensure the comfort of Lebanese citizens, so that religious and tourist visit visas are issued at all Iranian airports immediately.
The fee for this visa is 20 euros for Lebanese heading to Iran as a tourist destination, and 10 euros for those wishing to travel there to perform religious visits. These arrangements were also circulated to all concerned official authorities, in addition to the airlines operating their flights to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
