The following was issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division:
The Beirut Municipality will carry out maintenance work on the public road and sidewalks in Gemmayzeh - the lane extending from George Haddad intersection (Chez Paul restaurant) to St. Anthony Church.
Work will commence as of May 1, 2026, for a period of 15 days. Therefore, traffic in the area will be cut off and diverted from George Haddad Street towards the Kataeb House downwards, and towards Burj Al-Ghazal Intersection upwards.
Dear citizens, please be aware and adhere to the directives and instructions of members of the Internal Security Forces, and the directional traffic signs, to facilitate traffic and prevent congestion.
