Ground waves shook Lebanon for two minutes... and the Geophysical Center explains why

The National Center for Geophysics of the National Council for Scientific Research reported on its account on “X” that, “At 18:03 pm on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, ground waves were recorded on all monitoring stations from north to south that lasted about two minutes, resulting from an explosion in the Qantara area.”
