Britain on Tuesday summoned the Iranian ambassador to the United Kingdom against the backdrop of what the government described as the Iranian embassy’s “unacceptable and inflammatory” comments on social media. British Minister for the Middle East, Hamish Falconer, explained in a statement carried by the Foreign Office that the embassy “must stop any form of communication that could be interpreted as incitement to violence in the United Kingdom or internationally.”
