The educational office of the “Amal” movement and the educational mobilization of “Hezbollah” called for caution in fixing the dates for the official high school exams, canceling the “rehearsal” intermediate certificate for this year, and being satisfied with the results of school grades. This came after a coordination meeting between them, where they demanded reducing the curriculum from 24 to 18 weeks, exempting private schools in the border and affected areas from fees, and maintaining public schools in the affected areas as shelter centers for the displaced. They also stressed the need not to restrict displaced persons in schools, and to continue using them as shelter centers when needed. They called for the approval of a new salary series for teachers that takes into account inflation, the disbursement of the six salaries, and the payment of school scholarships to the various security forces, in addition to supporting teachers and contractors and paying their dues. He called for postponing the implementation of the new curricula, approving the full-time file at the Lebanese University, and accelerating the holding of matches reserved for coaches.
