Geagea met with a delegation from the municipalities of the southern border villages

The head of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, received in Maarab a delegation from the municipalities and mayors of the southern border villages, in the presence of a number of party officials and deputies.
Geagea presented the contacts and steps taken by the Lebanese Forces since the outbreak of the crisis, with the aim of supporting the steadfastness of the people of the border villages and stabilizing them in their land. He indicated that he had communicated with American officials from the beginning, calling for pressure on Israel not to attack or harass civilians.
The mayors and mayors thanked Geagea for his follow-up of the situation in their regions, and reviewed the most prominent challenges facing their towns in light of the current circumstances.
Geagea stressed that this issue is a priority for him, praising the steadfastness of the people of the border villages, describing their position as “heroic” despite the anxiety and lack of basic needs. He also pledged to continue working alongside the party team to secure the requirements of these areas at various levels.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Geagea reassured the delegation to follow up and address the problems raised, noting the cohesion of the people and the coordination existing between them.
