On April 11, 2026, a patrol from the Tripoli Regional Office in the General Directorate of State Security arrested a person called (A.H.H), who was wanted for the crime of drug trafficking, after he brandished a military weapon and terrorized citizens in a number of neighborhoods in the city of Tripoli. Upon investigation, it was found that he was wanted by the judiciary based on a summary of a ruling that sentenced him to 15 years in prison and a fine of 100 million Lebanese pounds for the crime of drug trafficking. He was also found in possession of a military pistol. The summary of the ruling issued against him was executed and he was referred to the competent judiciary based on his recommendation.
