Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Raji received a phone call from the Minister of State in the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Khulaifi, during which views were exchanged on the latest developments on the Lebanese scene and the rapid developments in the region, as well as the future of the ceasefire agreement and the US-Iranian negotiations file. During the call, the Qatari Minister affirmed that his country stands firmly and permanently by Lebanon's side, expressing Qatar's categorical rejection of the continuing Israeli attacks, and its strong condemnation of the harm that befalls innocent civilians as a result of these attacks. The Qatari Minister informed Minister Raji that his country sent a medical aid plane to arrive in Beirut today, stressing that Qatar will continue to support the Lebanese people at this extremely difficult stage. On the other hand, Minister Raji expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the State of Qatar for its sincere feelings and for this generous humanitarian initiative, noting that Lebanon is counting on the support of friendly countries in its endeavor to stop the Israeli escalation, and to support the Lebanese state in implementing its decisions aimed at extending its full sovereignty and confining weapons to the legitimate forces over the entire Lebanese territory.
