Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee said, “Based on an assessment of the situation, and in light of the firing of rockets from Lebanese territory since the morning, rockets may be launched toward additional areas in Israel in the coming hours.” He added in a statement: “The Israeli army confirms that at this stage it is necessary to be vigilant, act responsibly, and adhere to the instructions of the Home Front Command. If there are changes in the assessment of the situation, the public will be informed accordingly. The Israeli army remains on alert on both the defensive and offensive levels.”
